![]() That process takes about 15 seconds to be able to see the correct RGB configuration applied to all devices. My Workaround to all of this is a little batch file that just kill the ICUE Process, wait 5 seconds and run the program again. That's an interesting theory and for me is much more frequent (maybe 3 or 4 hours in between fails). I have a workaround that works for me, for now that's enough. Just my two cents though, I'm not on Asus or Corsair's dev team, and I'm not good enough at reverse engineering things to go and try diagnose this. Also, this is still a BETA so more features will be added. It always seems to be around the 12-14 hour mark though. When you install the plugin any supported motherboard will show up in iCue and some functionality is retained in Aura. Or if I reboot during the day, then the integration breaks sometime at night or early morning when I'm asleep. I've noticed that the integration will run fine in the morning, but often break later at night. Corsair is using a "game integration" to control Aura, and I think that Asus never thought people would be playing a single Aura-integrated game for >12 hours. My theory regarding why this issue exists is due to the way that this is implemented. I also have a Strix 3070 and its infuriating to have the one zone issue, but it seems to be an Aura issue rather than anything iCUE-related. You can check this in the settings->updates section in the bottom left of AC. I've found that reinstalling (using the uninstall tool, rebooting, installing, rebooting again) Armoury Crate can help, but the most important thing seems to be ensuring that your device HAL is up to date. RainbowĪfter a few seconds your iCUE should take control of Aura againĪs for the "one zone" issue, this one is a bit harder to pin down. This should reset your lighting to whatever your Aura default is, e.g. In Armoury Crate, enable then disable "Performance Mode" (under the Aura Sync menu) In iCUE settings, disable the plugins slider/toggle switch The asus plugin bugs out.Īnyway, I will test this one and come back here for conformation, thank you for the info.I've been dealing with this issue for a couple months now, and I seem to have found at least a workaround for now: I still have an open ticket with Corsair and the guys waiting for Asus armoury crate developers for a fix. I no longer have to deal with the terrible Asus Aura software. ICUE did that before with the ASUS plugin which worked fine for 2 years in my previous built. Joined: Status: offline Ribbons : 0 Thursday, Febru12:20 AM ( ) Hi So, I just updated iCue and noticed I can now control the lighting on my Asus motherboard (Asus Z390-E) and it works brilliantly with all the different profiles I have. So basically is no go for me and I guess for anyone with full setup (fans, cases etc.). On the other hand, armoury alone, is working fine but it doesn't have any control to any NON-asus hardware. In the screenshot you can see for example that the plugin is unable to read any sensor from the motherboard or control the lights. My problem is that something is Armoury crate is blocking the Asus plugin of ICUE to read and control motherboard lights and fans. I will give it a go, though if I understand correctly the problem is not the memory rgb lights, which always was bugged in my previous built. So to get this straight, we need to deactivate thunderbolt/usb4 from the bios and reboot in order for the asus plug in to work with ICUE. read this in a german forum:ĭont know if its a problem with ique or the asus board, but it's quite disappointing keeping the price of the hardware in mind. reeboot the system and the ram rgb is detected and you can control it via icue. You need to deactivate the thunderbolt controller within the windows device manager. There is also a screen capture of icue readings for my motherboard that it is actually frozen: Armoury crate on the other hand, it does read all sensors from motherboard correctly and can control the leds perfectly ok with it.Īlso I don't know if it is related somehow, but when armoury crate services loading during windows start up my pc becomes unresponsive and choppy for 3-4 secs.ĭoes anybody else experiencing same issues ? I couldn't find any relevant posts regarding this, although I tend to believe it is asus plug in/ armoury crate issue. Icue is working fine, it reads perfectly fine my 3080ti and everything but not my M/B rog crosshair 圆70e Hero. ![]() I am having some trouble to make the Icue Asus plug in to report the right readings and control lighting since I 've build this new PC.Įverything is updated and freshly installed, no problems in any other specific area but only in the motherboard readings through the plug in in ICUE. I am not sure if this is the right "place" to post this, I apologize if not. ![]()
